This Privacy Policy explains how Aureon Collective (“Aureon Collective,” “we,” “us,” or “ our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit aureoncollective.io, create an account, or obtain one of our resources (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account information. When you create an account, our authentication provider (Clerk) collects your email address, name (if provided), and login credentials or third-party sign-in identifiers.
Resource purchases. Free and paid resources are sold and delivered by Gumroad. When you obtain a resource, you provide your email address and (for paid items) payment details directly to Gumroad on their checkout, under their privacy policy. We do not receive or store your card details, and we do not run a mailing list of our own; any email you receive about a resource comes from Gumroad.
Usage and device data. Like most websites, our host (Vercel) and our systems automatically log technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps.
Cookies. We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in (set by Clerk). See “Cookies” below.

How we use your information

To provide and maintain the Service, including your account.
To respond to questions and support requests you send us.
To secure the Service, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms.
To understand usage and improve the Service.
To comply with legal obligations.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that operate the Service, each acting as our processor:

Clerk: authentication and account management. Clerk Privacy Policy

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.

Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary for authentication and security (for example, to keep you signed in). We do not currently use advertising cookies. If we add analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will update this Policy and, where required, request your consent.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at dispatch@aureoncollective.io. For data held by Gumroad in connection with a purchase, contact them directly or use the unsubscribe link in any email they send you.

International transfers

Our providers may process your data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children, and you must be at least 18 to create an account or purchase a resource. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Security

We and our providers use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice.
